Freezer Organization

Our freezer can sometimes get out of hand with all of the foodsaving that we do.  I currently have to reorganize my freezer about once a month.  Well I decided to try and resolve this problem and keep from having to reorganize as often.

How I did it:

I pulled everything out of the freezer and organized it by type: Soups, Raw Meat, Meals, Lunch, Snacks, Breads, Breakfasts, and Fruit.  Prior to this, I purchased plastic bins from Lowe's to help store some of these items.  I purchased 3 and had to go back for more.  The bins would fit on all the shelves except the top one.  I decided to use the top shelf for flat items like soup and beef.  I used the very bottom drawer for bags of items like potatoes, okra, etc.  The bins would only fit one across, so sometimes items were left out but still kept close to the main bins.  As I went along, I also took note of everything we have and wrote it all down on a dry erase board to help keep track of.  See below for pictures of this process:
