Indoor Summer Decor
So I know what you are thinking...I am doing a post about our indoor summer decor a month before summer ends. Well it's been a pretty busy summer in the Payne Household! Our decor is also perfect for Labor Day (and Memorial Day and July 4th!).
Dining Room
Our decor is all about red, white, and blue. I used a solid red burlap table runner. You can't see it in my picture, but it has ruffles on each end. I commonly use this table runner around Christmas too! The centerpiece is our now usual centerpiece. It is a cute, rustic candle holder. Brad also cuts some fresh hydrangeas every now and then that I place in a clear vase on either side of the candle holder.
Our table setting starts with our blue chargers. On top of the charger is first a solid white plate. I actually purchased some cheap white plates from Walmart a while back to keep from using our good ones all the time. As a nice little "happy" Brad's mom gave us the napkins that we placed on top of the white plate. They are perfect for summer! I just left them in a rectangle shape and didn't do anything fancy with them. Lastly, I topped off the place setting with my adorable Mickey Mouse plates.
Kitchen
In our kitchen, I of course have my ceramic plate with our flag ribbon.
Then our plate stand with an multiple red and blue plates and some red and white utensils on the side!
Our kitchen table decor was a really easy transition from our spring kitchen table decor. I literally only changed the place setting. I am using red placemats with our basic white plates topped with our Mickey Mouse plates.
