Croissant French Toast
This is a traditional recipe but with a twist. I found this on The Pioneer Woman's website and decide to give it a try. It was really yummy!
Ingredients
- 4 croissants
- 1/4 cup of half and half
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of syrup
- Butter
- Toppings
Instructions
1. Cut the croissants in half lengthwise
2. Whisk together the half and half, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and syrup
3. Add butter to a warm griddle until melted
4. Dunk the half croissants in the liquid mixture
5. Place on the griddle flat side down and let cook
6. Flip after about 5 minutes and cook the other side
7. Serve with your favorite toppings! [We like powdered sugar and syrup]
