Valentine's Day Exchange Idea
So at Melody’s preschool, we send in a small Valentine for each of the kids. I wanted to send in something other than candy and something not store-bought. I decided to send in some sort of “party favor” with a cute note. I opted for small rubber ducks. I mean what kid doesn’t love a rubber ducky for the bathtub!
So I made the tags using my Silhouette machine, pens, and cardstock I had on hand. I came up with a cute saying of “You Quack Me Up!”. I made each one personalized with “Happy Valentine’s Day [kid’s name]”. And then of course Melody’s name at the bottom. I also hole punched them in the corner.
Then I had some heart stickers, and I let Melody decorate them each with those stickers. She had a lot of fun doing so.
I then used curling ribbon to attach the tag to the duck. I was sure to curl the ribbon first.
Then I tied it around the ducks’ neck. (Unfortunately this was the only place to attach it haha).
And all done!
