Forbidden Caverns
During our Dollywood trip, we had a break day from the parks and decided to spend time enjoying the cabin. My dad had noticed signs for a place called Forbidden Caverns not far from where our cabin was. He thought it would be neat to take Melody there. So we drove about 15 minutes from our cabin to get there.
The tour itself takes about an hour. You park across the street from the building where you enter the caverns. The bathrooms are also in the parking lot. They were surprisingly clean. The building is a bit sketchy. We joked about how it was straight from the 80s. But the tour was neat. I honestly can’t tell you all the things the tour guide told us about the formations and such, but I will share some of the pictures I took along the way. If you are looking for something indoors to do and don’t have a fear of being underground, you should check it out!
