Elf on the Shelf 2022
Unicorn, our Elf on the Shelf, came back for a second year. She made her appearance on December 1st and went back home to the North Pole on December 24th. This was such a good year as far as Melody’s Christmas spirit. She was so into Christmas in general, and was obsessed with Unicorn even more this year. Check out her shenanigans below!
December 1 - She arrived with a welcome back letter along with a new Barbie.
December 2 - She got our cans from our pantry and made a ladder to get to the chocolate chip cookies. She was even caught eating one.
December 3 - She got into Melody’s jewelry box. She was wearing her bracelets like necklaces and her rings like bracelets.
December 4 - She got stuck in the sign on our pantry.
December 5 - She found herself stuck in our chandelier in the dining room.
December 6 - She was in the candy bowl covered in mints.
December 7 - She was hiding in an Animal Crossing present box in Melody’s room under her tree.
December 8 - She was in Melody’s American Girl high chair.
December 9 - She was found driving Barbie’s corvette with Barbie in tow.
December 10 - Unicorn found her way to Memphis onto Nannie and Bob Bob’s coffee bar shelves.
December 11 - She got tangled in our mantle lights.
December 12 - She must want cookies because she found her way into our Kitchen Aide mixer.
December 13 - She was caught riding a scooter through our dining room.
December 14 - She was found hanging in the garland on our staircase.
December 15 - She apparently wanted to see a view outside of Peppa Pig’s house onto her roof.
December 16 - She was caught rolling down the stairs in toilet paper.
December 17 - She found herself in the middle of some ornaments that are in a glass jar on our dining room table.
December 18 - She was hidden behind a picture frame on the mantle.
December 19 - She found a seat in our hutch along with our Christmas china.
December 20 - (Not pictured) She found herself stuck in Melody’s door hanger.
December 21 - She appeared in a jar labeled “Elf Transport System” with “Do Not Open” on the lid. It came with a letter. This allowed her to travel along with us to Memphis.
December 22 - She got stuck in Nannie’s wreath above her mantle.
December 23 - She found her way back into the jar on top of Nannie’s piano for our ride home.
December 24 - She was found in Melody’s bathroom along with a message on Melody’s mirrors made from post it notes. She also left Melody a handwritten note saying goodbye for the season.
