Our Coffee Bar
We have wanted a nice coffee bar for some time. And once we bought our current house, we had the perfect spot. However, we just couldn’t find the perfect one for the right price. One trip at Hobby Lobby, I saw one I loved. Brad and I measured it, and it would fit perfectly in our kitchen space, After drop off one day, Brad and I headed to Hobby Lobby and bought it!
Now I am certain it was designed to be a TV stand but it had all the storage and the look we wanted. We went back and forth on how to naturally leave the doors. But we ended up leaving them closed in the center since that is where we ended up storing all of our coffee mugs and extra stuff.
Later that year, we added a sign above the coffee bar. We bought a Christmas one from Smallwoods. The first one was damaged, so we got a second one for free. I eventually redid the damaged one, but I will do a post on that later.
We also got a rug for Christmas we added in this area.
Before a shower I hosted, we added glass since we knew we would be serving iced coffee at the shower. It actually turned out great to have as we have since added a Nespresso machine too.
