July 2023 Fun
Hello! Should I reintroduce myself? Ha. Well August was fun but crazy and blogging was not high on my to do list. Here we are almost a month later, and I am finally updating you on all the fun we had in July! A lot has happened, and I can’t wait to share it all. But let’s talk about July. It was our last month of summer before school started. School started back so soon it felt like! Summer just flew by. But we had lots of fun, and we made the most of what time we had left before Melody went back to school!
At the beginning of the month, Melody went and stayed with Brad’s parents for a few nights. She was able to spend lots of time with her cousins and grandparents without mom and dad hovering, ha. While Melody was away, Brad and I spent the time in Franklin on a “business” trip. We worked on lots of things with our respective businesses while also eating good food and getting good sleep!
We had lots of cuddles.
We celebrated July 4th at my parents’ house. It is likely our last since they are putting their house up for sale soon. We had fun and even got to play with the golf cart.
Melody went to VBS, and Brad and I also helped teach classes too!

We spent lots of time at the school helping Melody’s teacher as well as doing some PTO work on the playground! I even helped make what the kids call the “map” table in her classroom. Their theme this year is “around the world”.
Lots of fun was had in July for sure!
