Fleece Blanket Tutorial
Disclaimer: I am not an Auburn fan. The person who I made the blanket for is an Auburn graduate. Roll Tide :-)
Materials Needed
- Fleece Patterned Material, I used 2 yards
- Fleece Solid Material (matches Pattern), I used 2 yards
- Scissors
Step 1
Place the two materials on top of one another with the sides you want seen on the outsides
Step 2
Cut off any unwanted edges (hard seams, printed material) and make sure both pieces are the exact same size
Step 3
Cut off each of the corners; I did 4 inches each way.
Step 4
Cut one inch wide ALL the way around, 4 inches deep (should match the depth of the corners you cut off).
Step 5
Once all cuts have been made, tie together each cut of the patterned side to the solid side. I tie in knots.
Completed!
Extra Added Step
I use some of the fabric I cut off in Step 2 to use as a “ribbon” to tie the blanket up.
