Valentine's Day Recipes Part Two
Oreo Balls
Ingredients
Oreos (I used half of the package)
Cream Cheese (I like a lot, so I used about 6 oz)
Almond Bark (I used 3 squares)
Red Sprinkles
Instructions
One: Using a food processor finely crush the Oreos.
Two: Place all the crushed Oreos in a medium size bowl.
Three: Mix the soften cream cheese with the crushed Oreos.
Four: Roll the mixture into small sized balls and place on wax paper. Place in freezer for 10 minutes.
Five: While freezing the mixture, melt the almond bark.
Six: Remove mixture from freezer. Using a toothpick, dip the mixture in the melted almond bark.
Seven: Place some sprinkles on the wax paper, then place the almond bark covered mixture on top of it.
Eight: Continue these steps until all are complete
Nine: Let set for about 15 minutes.
Heart-Shaped Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
Bread
Sliced Cheese
Butter
Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter
Instructions
One: Place two slices of bread on a plate.
Two: Using the cookie cutter, cut the bread.
Three: Using the cookie cutter, cut the cheese.
Four: Butter both slices of bread.
Five: Place the cheese between the two slices of bread; the butter should be on the outside.
Six: Place about a tablespoon of butter in a hot skillet.
Seven: When butter is mostly melted place sandwich in the center of the skillet.
Eight: After about 30 seconds, flip it.
Nine: When brown on both sides and cheese is melted, it is ready to serve!
Almond Bark Candy
Ingredients
Almond bark (4 squares)
Preferred candies
Red Sprinkles
Instructions
One: Place preferred candies in a glass container (or even on wax paper).
Two: Melt Almond Bark.
Three: Pour melted Almond Bark over candy and spread evenly.
Four: Top with red sprinkles. Let cool.
Five: Let harden some but not completely before cutting into squares. If it hardens completely (like hours) just place in microwave until slightly soften (Brad's idea).
