Items Needed

  • Decorative bucket/container
  • Foam floral sphere (or whatever is needed to fit in the bottom of the bucket you buy)
  • Wooden craft sticks (multiple sizes)
  • Fillers to cover foam sphere
  • Items for the basket (different size candies and/or other gift items)

Instructions

Step One: Place the foam sphere in the bottom of the basket/container

Step Two: Put the filler in the basket and fill just below the top

Step Three: Place the items in the order you plan to put them in the basket to make sure that you can see them all and that they look good

Step Four: Using a hot glue gun, glue the sticks onto the items; be sure you are gluing them at the right height for how you will be placing them in the bucket

Step Five: Let the glue set for about 10-15 minutes

Step Six: Starting with the object that is going in the back, start placing the items in the bucket; make sure they are pressed into the foam and will hold on their own; continue working your way forward

Step Seven: So you can stop now, or you can use cellophane and 'wrap' the basket; this might be best if you have to transport it

This is a really good gift idea for Valentine's Day, but I have also made these for birthdays, Easter, and other holidays. See below for some I made in the past.
