Baked Okra
I absolutely love fried okra. Brad loves my fried okra too. Well, I have been trying to eat healthier. With that said, fried okra doesn't equal super healthy. So I decided to try baked okra. It actually turned out really great and is a good alternative to fried okra.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
- Approximately 2 cups of frozen okra
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
One: Rinse frozen okra under cold water
Two: After getting any excess water off, pour directly into a mixing bowl
Three: Pour approximately 1 tablespoon of flour on top of okra
Four: Apply salt and pepper to taste
Five: Mix all together
Six: Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray
Seven: Pour okra onto cookie sheet
Eight: Cook okra 20 minutes at 375-400; flip
Nine: Cook an additional 20 minutes, or until crispy
