Baby Shower Elephant Balloon Guestbook
For my best friend's baby shower, I gave her a couple of options for a guestbook. Since she would be the one displaying it, I wanted her involved to an extent without giving too much away. I found some different options through Pinterest, and I let her pick. She thought it would be cute to have an elephant and balloons that people signed. So I took that idea and ran with it.
I used the elephant that I used on all of the stationary for the shower. I decided to just use the one elephant opposed to the two elephants on some of the other stationary. I added lines coming from behind the elephant to be the string holding the balloons. Lastly, I added her baby's name at the bottom. I debated if I wanted to add the baby shower information any where, but I decided it would make it too busy, so I opted for just her name!
I found a picture frame at Hobby Lobby that would work for her nursery. I decided to do an 8x10 frame. I printed the elephant on white cardstock and trimmed it so that it would fit in the frame. I bought a 1-inch round punch, and I punched circles from pink cardstock. I decided to use two colors of cardstock to give it some flare.
At the shower, I displayed the frame and placed the "balloons" with black sharpies on the table for people to sign as they walked in. I did not give people the option to attach their own balloon to the frame because you never know how people would do this. I had considered attaching the balloons ahead of time and having people sign the frame directly, but I was afraid I would either have a lot of empty balloons or not enough! When the shower was over, I used double-sided tape and attached the balloons.
