Taco Ring Recipe

Taco Ring Recipe

I LOVE Mexican food!  Brad can attest to this.  He isn't the biggest fan of it, but he has learned to like it more.  When I was pregnant with Melody, we ate at Taco Bell more times than I can truly count.  I think since I had Melody, he has only been there once with me!  I still love it and go when I get a chance, however.  Anywho...because Brad isn't the biggest fan of Mexican food, I try and mix it up.  Our friends make a taco ring every now and then during Walking Dead gatherings, so I decided to try making it as well.  We both love theirs, so we knew we would love it.  It is super easy to make and really yummy and cheap!  Check it out below.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of prepared taco meat
  • 8 pack of Pillsbury Crescent rolls
  • Shredded Cheese

Instructions

1. Line a round pizza pan with aluminum foil (easy clean up!) and spray with cooking spray

2. Line the crescent rolls flat in a spiral shape like below

3. Pour the taco meat in the crescent rolls like below

4. Top the meat with shredded cheese.  You could also mix this in the meat before adding it.  Whichever you prefer

5. Fold the tip of the crescent roll over the taco meat.  Some of the meat will be exposed.

6. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the crescent rolls are browned and the cheese is melted to your liking. The taco meat should be warm when you make this so you are mainly only cooking the crescent rolls.

7. Serve!
