Pumpkin Patch 2018
We went and had our annual pumpkin patch visit a few weekends ago at Lyons Family Farm. You can read about our visits in 2016 and 2017 too. Check our most recent visit below!
As usual, we arrived when they opened at 9 am. This was the most comfortable year as far as weather went. The first year it was SO cold, and last year it was super WARM. So this year it was the perfect mixture of the two!
Melody was starting the day in such a great mood as you can tell from the pictures below!
The first thing Melody went for was the BIG slide! She spent quite a while on this slide. She loved going up the stairs then going down the slide. Over and Over and Over.
Then she went and rode the inflatable slide. She was only interested in this once because she saw Lydia jumping.
So of course we had to jump. Lydia could have stayed here all day if Justin and Emily would have let her!
After jumping, the girls saw the playground, so we went and did that for a while.
Lydia even tried to get Brad to take her to the inflatable slide, but that didn’t last long, ha!
Melody then saw the swings and we had to run over to them. She loves to swing!
We went and found Lydia at the petting zoo area. We didn’t pet any animals, but we did see the pigs race.
Next up was lunch. We brought our lunch and so Brad went to the car to get it. Melody was hungry but didn’t like anything we had of course. So she snacked on a few things we did have before going to play some more.
So we then went to the area of the huge slides on the hills. Melody and Brad climbed the hill over and over to go down the slides.
Then Brad and Melody road the cow train. Melody hated having to get off of it to let other kids ride. She just hasn’t learned patience yet!
At this point we headed to find Emily and Justin. On our walk to find them Melody found the Hillbilly Drums and played them for a bit.
We all decided not to do the hayride. We usually do for pictures, but the girls were done. So we took a few pictures of them by the growth chart.
Then Brad took Melody to the car while I got us a yummy treat to take home!
