DIY Bitty Baby Dress
When we went to Disney World back in December, I wanted Melody's Bitty Baby to have her own Disney dress. I couldn't find anything already made, so I made my own. See how I did it below.
Items Needed
- Preemie Baby Onesie
- 6x28 inches worth of fabric that matches onesie
Directions
1. Cut about 3-4 inches off the bottom of the baby onesie. I put it on the baby to get an idea of where to cut it.
2. Cut the material down to 6 inches by 28 inches
3. On each side, fold it about half an inch. Sew each of these sides to create a clean edge.
4. Sew the fabric onto the onesie. I made small pleats to add a bit of "flash" ha! Then be sure and sew the fabric together at the back once it is sewn to the onesie. [unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of this.]
5. All done!
