Summer 2018
Unfortunately with the Alabama heat and bugs, we have not spent near as much time outside this summers I would have liked. But we did make the best of it!
One Sunday, we filled up the water table, and we also got out one of Melody’s water toys we bought on clearance last summer. She loved the water table, but she wasn’t a fan of the water toy that sprayed on her! She also hated her swim shoes, so we ended up in rain boots, ha!
One evening after Brad got off work, we let Melody play in the front yard in her Cozy Coupe Truck.
We snuck to Bruster’s one evening for ice cream. It was messy to say the least.
Melody loves playing in her playhouse. We try and spend an evening a week out there, but the bugs are awful. And when she gets bitten, the bites are awful and huge!
Sometimes she likes to be like her daddy and wear her hats outside too!
One Saturday, we decided to have a yard sale with Emily and Justin. We brought Melody’s playhouse to the front yard and let the girls play for a bit. They really enjoyed it.
And sometimes we just run!
We also were able to spend a day at the splash pad at the local mall. It was a hot one! And the girls are super cute.
