Spring Break 2019
So I just realized I never blogged about our Spring Break back in March. We didn’t go on a big vacation or do a whole lot of the ordinary, but we did have a lot of fun that I want to share.
We started out Spring Break with frozen yogurt. Melody has finally taken an interest in getting it, but she still refuses to add toppings to it, ha! And they have a fun kid’s table she likes to sit at sometimes.
We also spent a few days at the start of Spring Break attempting to potty train. It went absolutely awful. While she peed in the potty a few times, she would literally pee 5-6 times within an hour. I couldn’t time when she needed to go potty, and even when I tried, she would literally pee her panties the moment she got up. So we are going to try again later.
We attempted to use a “normal” cup. I found this cute lids for her existing cups that help her transition. She didn’t like the “sipping” ones but she loved the straw ones.
We were able to spend SOME time outside. It was a fairly cold spring break, but we tried at least.
We made our way to Let’s Play.
We spent some time at Target, and I found this neat stamp set that Melody LOVES on clearance.
We had lots of cuddles.
I had a superstar visitor during my weekly Publix run.
Melody helped me decorate for Easter.
We dressed up in our Mickey ears and rocked them.
We went to Memphis and spent time with family.
I found a way to workout on the go.
We visited Ikea in Memphis.
We spent more time outside. It was a little bit warmer by the weekend.
Melody had lots of ice cream.
We visited the Memphis Zoo.
And we went to a wedding. Melody had so much fun dancing the night away!
