Teacher Gifts
So let it be known (and I am almost certain every mom agrees), May is the worst month of the year! In addition to the normal end of school year craziness, there is Melody’s birthday, our anniversary, Mother’s Day, and the list goes on. So to add to this I had to come up with end of year gifts for her two preschool teachers, her three dance teachers, and I wanted to send something to all of the teachers at her preschool (there are only 9). I didn’t go as crafty as I did for Christmas (preschool and dance), but I did make a few homemade gifts to go along with the gift cards I bought!
Dance Teachers
So for the dance teachers I kept it super simple. I went to Starbucks and got them each a Starbucks gift card. But I did write them each a personalized thank you card from us and included the gift card in it.
Preschool Teachers
So for Melody’s two preschool teachers I bought each a gift card to Target. But I did want to give them a small gift of sorts. So I bought some picture frames that were solid black and flat from Hobby Lobby. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out specific class name and year. Then I printed a picture I took of the entire class and put it in the frame. And even if you don’t have a Silhouette, you could buy the scrapbook letters and make this same gift!
All the Preschool Teachers
I decided for all 9 teachers at her school I would make them each an Apple cookie. It was a good practice run for Melody’s birthday party too. I made these in plenty of time so that they could completely harden. Then I put the cookies in individual bags and tied a cute thank you around them that I made using my Silhouette Cameo.
