Brad's 36th Birthday
We celebrated Brad’s 36th birthday last week in a very unconventional way for him…we went to Disney World! His birthday was on Friday, and we decided Monday to head out Tuesday evening after he got off work.
We did celebrate Monday night with a makeshift dessert and presents from everyone but Melody and me. I did decorate the house Monday but I didn’t get any pictures of that. And Brad and Melody fell asleep during our nighttime TV.
I semi-decorated our room for Brad’s birthday with some balloons I got at Target.
On Brad’s actual birthday, we had planned to spend the day at Epcot. We woke up early and Brad opened his presents.
I was able to get a pre-park opening breakfast at our favorite, Garden Grill. Melody still wasn’t a fan of the characters!
We then made a change in our plans (so unlike me and Disney), and we headed to Hollywood Studios. We had no intentions of visiting Galaxy’s Edge, and our plans were to actively avoid Hollywood Studios. BUT there was NO boarding groups, and crowds were crazy low. So we headed over before lunch and spent some time there. Brad loved it, and it was a great way to spend part of his birthday!
Then we headed back to Epcot to do a few rides before heading to his birthday dinner at his favorite, Chefs de France. They even sung for him!
After getting back home, I did make him cookies and bought cupcakes to celebrate his birthday one last time on Labor Day. I was unable to get a cake at Disney that he could eat, so this was his “cake” celebration.
