Top Golf
For my birthday celebration with Emily and Justin, we went to Top Golf. Emily’s sister watched the kids, and we decided Top Golf would be a fun place to try without the girls.
So we did eat dinner before going, but we opted to order drinks, an appetizer, and a dessert. Drink wise, I ordered the Patron Paloma (last picture), and Strawberry Cuervo Marg (first picture). The Patron Paloma was awful. I continued drinking it and chasing it with food, ha. It was really strong, and the sparkling mineral water wasn’t a great addition. The strawberry cuervo marg was great. I loved that it was made with silver tequila. Emily ordered the orange dream (I didn’t get a picture of it). It tasted like a creamsicle. It was delicious and a super tasty drink.
We ordered the queso and chips from the appetizer menu. The queso was delicious and the salsa that came with it was great too. They also supplied endless chips and salsa.
For dessert, we ordered the injectable donut holes. We asked for the raspberry jelly and chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce wasn’t great, but the raspberry jelly was a sweet addition. The donuts were great by themselves, but the raspberry jelly made them even better.
We of course played golf! Below are shots of both Emily and Justin. I only have videos of Brad and me.
They provided golf clubs if you want them. They even provide left handed ones or kid ones. However, you can bring your own. We ended up playing for 2.5 hours. We originally planned for 1 hour and added on as we played. We started with the Top Golf game. After an hour we added another hour. Looking back, I think we should have only added 30 minutes. We ended up playing a second game that was doubles. I was tired and a little tipsy at this point, so I didn’t play too well. But we didn’t finish the doubles game in the one hours, so we added 30 more minutes to finish up.
Overall it was a LOT of fun. I was afraid the heights would bother me (we were on the third and top floor), but it wasn't too bad. Near the end I was getting nervous I would drop my club overboard, but I never did. I do think we could bring the girls during the day and on a lower floor. They are probably still too small to play, but they had games for kids right inside the doors. Oh and TVs for extra entertainment.
