Mother's Day and Anniversary 2020
Mother’s Day and our Anniversary looked a bit different this year due to COVID-19. We did see our moms both before and after Mother’s Day, but we still limited our interaction with the public. So no fancy meals or brunches inside of a restaurant this year!
Mother’s Day was super laid back. I spent most of the day truly being lazy inside on the couch or outside on the patio. Brad and Melody got me this precious Disney bracelet, and I was serenaded by Melody. We picked up Salsarita’s for dinner too.
Our Anniversary was the day after Mother’s Day. Again, we had our normal routine still going on such as work and school at home. But we ordered a really nice meal from a local place, Connor’s. We usually go to Grille 29, but they have not opened back up yet. Connor’s, however, is doing both takeout, and their dining room is now open back up. It was actually thought it was our best meal from there. We were so full, and it was so yummy! We ended the evening outside playing with Melody. For our gifts, I bought Brad some adorable Disney posters to frame, and I made him a Brewster’s coffee mug from Animal Crossing. He got me a new pair of Minnie Mouse pajamas, and I can buy any pair of ears from Aloha Ears!
