Lemon Bars

Lemon Bars

This is another discovered recipe that I made years ago (notice baby Melody down below!). Lemon bars are super yummy, and I am glad I found this because these are fairly easy to make and we almost always have these ingredients on hand!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of softened butter

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 2 1/4 cups of flour

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 lemons, juiced or 4 tablespoons of lemon juice

  • powdered sugar for topping

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix together butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 cups of flour. Also look how young and precious that baby was!!

2. Press into a 9x9 greased pan and bake on 350 for 15 minutes.

3. While the crust is baking, mix together the eggs, the rest of the flour (1/4 cup) and sugar (1 1/2 cup), and lemon juice.

4. Pour mixture onto your baked crust and bake for another 20 minutes.

5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

SERVE!
