DIY Matching Game

DIY Matching Game

DIY Matching Game.jpg

So this was far from an original idea, but it was a really great one and we had everything on hand to do this. I found this on Oriental Trading’s website. It is really easy to make, and a fun game to play for toddlers.

Items Needed

  • Single color cardstock

  • Multicolor (or another DIFFERENT single color) paper

  • Matching stickers (or make some matching items from paper)

  • Glue

  • Paper cutter (or scissors)

  • Circle cutter (or scissors)

Instructions

1. Cut out squares and circles in an even number. We did 36. I used a circle cutter to cut circles out of the multicolor paper. Then I used a paper cutter to cut squares out of the solid cardstock. This could also be done with scissors.

2. Glue the circles on to one side of the squares. Then attach the stickers on the other side. Make sure you have a match for each one, ha!

3. Play!
