The Cardinal Drive In
So back in February, I got the chance to try The Cardinal Drive In in Moulton, AL. My parents live near there, and I was visiting with my dad. While my parents have eaten there often, I have never been. It is similar to Sonic, but honestly, it was much better!
It was cold out, but I am sure it gets really busy here during the warmer months! Below is their menu. They have a lot of similar options like Sonic.
I ordered the burger combo. So I feel like I got the No.2 burger but with mayo instead of mustard, but I honestly can’t remember. I know it had pickles, onions, and lettuce. It comes just like it does at Sonic in a foil bag. The burger was really good and had a great flavor. It is a thin patty, so if you want a thick burger, I would get a double or larger. The fries were also much, much better than Sonic. I may try onion rings or tater tots next time though. I suspect those are really good too. I didn’t get a picture, but I also had a strawberry cream pie milkshake that was delicious!
I highly recommend stopping by at least for dessert if you ever find yourself in Moulton!
