Paper Plate Flower
A paper plate flower is a cute and easy craft that you can do for the spring or summer, or even as a gift for a parent or grandparent. All you need is a paper plate, some paint, scissors, glue, a popsicle stick, and green construction paper (or white paper colored green!). And if you are missing any supplies, you can easily improvise!
Take the paper plate and cut pieces out of the edge to make the edges look like petals. Then paint the flower. To add some variety, I had Melody use a cotton ball to paint hers. Because she does not like getting paint on her, I had her use a clothes pin to hold the cotton ball.
Once dry, I glued the popsicle stick to the plate. And I cut out two leaves from green construction paper and glued them on the popsicle stick.
