Billie Razor

As Brad likes to sometimes say, “I was influenced”, ha. I have seen much talk about the Billie razors all over social media. I have contemplated them for a while. I love the idea of having blades arrive every so often as a reminder to change my blade. I also hate shaving, and finding a place for my razor away from my 4 year old, and shaving. Like really hate shaving, ha. Anyways, I finally decided to give it a try. It is only $9 with free shipping. So my thought was I could cancel my future blades if I hated it.

I must say, I did end up paying an extra $5 for the travel case. I hate traveling with a razor simply because it can make a mess. And I am not a huge fan of disposable razors. As far as my subscription goes, I signed up to receive new blades every 3 months. I can’t remember, but I believe that is $9 for each set of razors as well. You can sign up for more frequently, but aside from the summer, I maybe shave twice a week. I hate it, ha.

Anyhow, it took about 10 total days for my package to arrive after I ordered it. It came in very pretty packaging especially considering the price.

I opted for the coral colored razor. It came with one blade already attached.

Separately was the magnetic holder for my razor along with extra putty. The great thing with the holder is it is removable if you want to move it to another shower or bath. I have had mine on for over 2 months now, and it has not even seemed as if it was going to fall off.

The travel holder is also really nice and basic. But it does the job. I have only traveled with it once, but I didn’t notice it causing any issues with wetness in my travel bag.

And of course it came with one extra blade. I just changed it for the first time last week actually. And I didn’t necessarily change it because the blade feels duller. I just felt like it was time to change it since I have more coming in a little over a month.

Overall I really like this razor. I love that it has its own place in our shower and is easily kept away from Melody. before my razor was just sitting on some shampoo bottles. Not safe or practical. The shave seems fine. Nothing over the top amazing, but nothing worse than I have had before. I plan to continue my subscription for the near future at least.
