Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo 2021

Last year we were unable to attend the Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo due to COVID. They still held it, but we were not comfortable going. Thankfully they let us use our weekend passes from last year this year. I didn't get a huge amount of pictures. But I did want to share what I did take below.

We decided to go Saturday after lunch. We had Melody dress up as Rosie Redd from Rainbow Rangers, and Brad and I wore our Rainbow Ranger shirts. We stopped and got coffee on the way.

I bribed Melody with popcorn.

We spent about 1.5 hours at the Expo on Saturday. We bought some Barbies and GI Joes.

And we went out to eat as a whole family for the first time. Melody was ecstatic and has asked to go inside every restaurant since, ha.

After we got home, we opened her Barbies. Brad first noticed how her body felt differently than Melody’s newer Barbies (this one was from the 90s). Melody was more concerned about how her boobs were so much bigger, ha.

We did the same thing on Sunday. We arrived after lunch, and it was much smaller crowd wise. I took some pictures of the expo itself. Lots of booths this year.

Melody got another Barbie, I got some Disney art for the house, and Brad got more GI Joes.

Since it wasn’t quite dinnertime yet, we went across the street to Big Spring Park and walked around to kill some time before heading home for dinner.

Below are posts from our past visit to the Expo:
