August Fun
August has been a HUGE month for our household. Melody started school, Brad traveled for work, and he celebrated a birthday.
As mentioned above, Melody started school. We attended open house, had back to school pictures made, and she headed to Kindergarten!
We also had an all about Melody day the day before she started school.
Brad left for a work trip. It is the longest he has ever been gone. It has been really hard on us for sure!
We have spent some time with my parents while Brad is away. We had many dinners and went camping too.
When Brad is out of town, Melody keeps to sleep in the bed with me. So we have had lots of bedtime selfies and fun.
Of course, the most common selfie we have taken in August in the carline selfie! Elementary school carline is quite different from our small preschool one, ha!
With Melody in school so much, she doesn’t get quite as much playtime, but she still finds time in the afternoons.
I got stung by a wasp! And we got army worms.
We have eaten inside restaurants more which makes Melody happy.
Melody went to her first school birthday party.
We went to the movie theater and saw the new Paw Patrol movie, and we also started streaming it DAILY at home.
And Melody started her first fundraiser at her school!
