Carnival Liberty Ocean Suite
On our cruise back in April, we opted to stay in a nicer room since it had been so long since we had cruised together. We opted to do an ocean suite. It is in between a junior suite and a grand suite. It definitely did not have as much room as the grand suite we stayed in years ago, but it was still much nicer than most of the rooms we have stayed in. Having the balcony and extra room during our cruise was really ideal too.
We opted for the 7th floor and specifically room 7248. We wanted to be close to all the action but not hear a lot of noise too. Since we stayed in a suite, we were able to board before everyone else. And our room was ready at 11:30 vs the 1:30 as other guest rooms were. When we arrived, our cards were in an envelope outside of our door. They sometimes put other documents here too.
You are met with a hallway as soon as you walk in.
If you go right after walking in, you will find a sitting area with a vanity and closet. The closet had robes and our life vests.
If you continue through the door in the closet. you will find the large bathroom. It is huge compared to standard bathrooms onboard. We had double sinks and a jacuzzi tub.
If you continue walking into the room, you will find our sleeping area. We had a desk, a couch, a coffee table, two twin beds, and another closet.
And of course we had a nice large balcony. It was longer than most and had 4 chairs on it.
Behind the door were the breakfast room service menus.
We also had towels and bottles of water. Our room came with two free bottles, and you could pay for others if they were wanted or needed. They also provided us with face masks and other information we could scan with our phones.
We came back to towel animals daily.
And during our trip we came back to some cookies.
All of the space was so amazing especially when we wanted to just sit in the room but didn’t want to get our beds dirty. The bathrooms were probably the best part aside from the balcony. I highly recommend the splurge if you can afford it!
