Valentine's Day 2022
Valentine’s Day was traditional and simple. We had a festive breakfast, swapped gifts, and made homemade lasagna.
The morning began with Valentine’s Day waffles and festive plates and napkins.
Melody was so excited to celebrate at school. They swapped Valentine’s then they tried different red foods.
We broke out the Joffrey’s California Grill coffee after we got Melody to school. It was fitting since we honeymooned at the Contemporary.
After Melody got home from school, we swapped gifts. We keep it simple, but Melody did decide she wanted to buy gifts for Brad and me.
Then Melody and I made lasagna and baked cookies.
For dinner we had lasagna with a side salad and bread. Melody had heart shaped peanut butter sandwich and apples along with some chips. Then dessert were cookies and homemade king cake in red and white sprinkles.
And to end the night we grabbed a selfie.
I didn’t take pictures of all of our decor before taking it down, but I did grab a picture of a piece Melody made. She did this banner all on her own after she saw all of my decor.
