Pink Glitter Designs Highlight - Valentine's Exchange

I have started releasing digital Valentine’s Day Classroom Exchange cards in my Etsy shop this week! I have plenty more that I plan to release in the next few weeks, but I started out with more general ones that can be used with any treat or item that you want to pair with it. There are 6 different options. Each option comes with 6 designs. You can see them below. Click here to start shopping! Oh, and don’t forget the exclusive discount code to my blog readers - PGP15DISCOUNT!

Straw Valentine Exchange

Valentine’s Day may already be over, but I wanted to still go ahead and share what I made for Melody’s Valentine’s Day exchange this year. You can pin it or save it so you can remember for next year if you want as well. It was super easy to make too. Melody did most of the work after I my Silhouette printed and cut them out!

Valentine's Day 2021

While we always keep Valentine’s Day low key, this year was truly that. We stayed in all day (with the exception of a lunch trip Brad made), and we just spent time playing and relaxing (and prepping for an “ice storm”).

Sweet Treats for Teachers

Very [VERY] last minute I decided to make Melody’s preschool teachers cookies for Valentine’s Day. I mean, literally the day before I was searching through party supplies for treat bags and making the labels and cookies. And while I only ended up with two cookies per teacher, it is the thought that counts.

Valentine Basket

A few weeks ago, I saw another blogger post about making a holiday basket for Valentine’s Day. She intends to change it for each holiday. It includes plates, napkins, cups, etc. Basically all the things related to that holiday that you could make fit. I decided to recreate it myself using our things. I always have cute holiday plates and napkins, but no where to really display them. So now the problem is solved!

Hugs and Kisses Valentine Exchange

I let Melody general decide what to do this year for her Valentine exchange at school. She originally wanted unicorns and rainbows, but I eventually convinced her to pick a candy. She opted for “chocolate candy hats” aka Hershey Kisses. I did some googling and opted to do Hugs and Kisses as the them.

Valentine Wreath

So I have this grapevine style wreath that I used a long time ago to make a spring wreath. While the wreath was really cute and we used it often, the flowers on were starting to look faded from being used and in the sun so long. So we took all the things off and just hung it in our garage with the other wreaths I have. Well I had this idea about a week or so ago to use it to make a Valentine’s wreath. While it is not my favorite wreath I have ever made, I think it turned out pretty cute for a last minute put-together craft!

Valentine's Day 2020

Valentine’s Day is a low key holiday in our household. I mean I do decorate, and we exchange small gifts, but we don’t do fancy. We don’t go out for fancy dinners, or exchange expensive gifts. This year we literally stayed in pajamas all day long! It was quite fun and relaxing.

Hand Flower Bouquet

As I mentioned Tuesday, I wanted to do a special card for our parents for Valentine’s Day that involved Melody’s hands. For my parents I decided to make a bouquet of flower. It was so cute, I actually made one for us to put with our Valentine’s Day decor! Oh and this would be a cute card for any occasion!

Long Distance Hug Card

I wanted to give both of our parents a little sweet Valentine’s Day card from Melody. I decided to try and incorporate her hand prints in the cards since she is much better with paint these days. After look around on Pinterest, I found an idea I absolutely loved for Brad’s parents. His parents live in Memphis, and we don’t get to see them as regularly as my parents. So the idea of a “long distance hug” was perfect!

Oreo Valentine Exchange

I mentioned Thursday that I had hoped to post this sooner. But Melody and I didn’t come up with a Valentine Exchange idea until Wednesday. So I spent Thursday creating it! Melody wanted to give her classmates and teachers Oreos. Thankfully Publix had their individually wrapped Oreos BOGO this week. I opted to get the larger sized ones. I had approximately 24 kids/teachers to give them to, so this worked out best too.

Small Valentine's Banner

I was hoping to be posting about this year’s Valentine’s Exchange for preschool, but I just came up with what I am doing yesterday! So that is a post for next week! But I did make a cute small banner using leftover supplies from the Valentine Banner I posted about earlier this week! I hung it in our foyer next to our Valentine presents.

Valentine Banner

I love hanging banners from our fireplace. I don’t have a Valentine one, so I checked out the dollar section at Target, but I didn’t find anything I loved. I found a few banners but you either put notes in them or hang pictures on them. I didn’t want either of those. So I decided to make my own.
