Barbie Accessory Storage
Melody has a LOT of Barbies. She receives them for most gift giving occasions, and she spends her allowance on them frequently. With Barbies comes a million tiny pieces. I had to find a way to solve it, and back in January I did.
This is her Barbie collection before I organized it. She plays with her Barbies often, so I don’t feel there is much point in putting it all up just for her to pull back out. But I did need to get all the little things organized somehow and make the space walkable.
After some thought, I came up with the photo organizer from Michael’s. We have several of this organizers for all of Brad’s action figures. So I thought this would be ideal for most of the accessories that go with her Barbies. You can usually find it on sale at Michael’s, so never pay full price for it!
So I grouped all of her accessories by things such as kitchen, purses, clothes, drinks, etc. Then I places each grouping in the individual boxes. Some groups spanned multiple boxes (such as clothes), and some are barely full but leave room for more things.
And while up there, I organized all the toys too. Of course it has been a month since doing this, and I am certain it looks nothing like this. But I supposed that is why it is a play room!
