Fall Break Day Four
We went to Pigeon Forge this year for fall break. Brad was unfortunately traveling for work. So we made it a girls trip including my mom. We found a good deal on a fun hotel, and we used our season passes for Dollywood to give us some additional fun. Emily’s family also was there for a part of a trip giving Melody someone to play with at times. We had a lot of fun, and I have a lot to share! Here is day four!
As I mentioned in my trip report of day three, Emily’s group left the night before. Since it was our last full day, we decided to sleep in and enjoy the resort some before heading to Dollywood that evening. We played at the pool, Melody finally got to spend time in the arcade, and we stopped by and did some quick shopping at the outlets. We ate lunch at The Chop House at the outlets. Then we headed to Dollywood for the night.
We went straight to the Country Fair and knocked out some of Melody’s favorite rides before doing a few we hadn’t done yet. We then walked over and rode Blazing Fury a handful of times. She wanted to try riding Firechaser Express again (she was terrified last time). We waited nearly an hour, but she LOVED it this time. She wanted to do it again, but there just was not time to do so. We then made our way to Dragonflier and rode it right at closing. We took our time walking through the rest of the park to look at the Halloween decor before heading back to the hotel for the night!
