Melody is Seven
How is Melody 7?!?!? I cannot believe but here we are!
We took our annual last night as a “X” year old.
Then we woke her up with all the balloons. It is another annual tradition that we do. You can even see the collage I made of all the mornings past.
Then she had donuts for breakfast. She was slightly embarrassed by the candles and singing though.
Then she opened up all her presents.
Melody was begging to go skating on her birthday after attending her friend’s birthday party. So we spent the afternoon at the skating rink. We were literally the only people there the entire time too. Melody was disappointed she didn’t get to play the fun skating games, but she enjoyed getting to skate without all the people.
After lunch and dinner, we came back to the house and had cake. Melody asked for cookie cake this year. She barely touched it, but it was her request. She also got so embarrassed by us singing to her. Not sure where that came from this year though.
I think she had a great birthday!
