Silhouette Cameo Part Five
Since the pandemic started back in March, we have been busy keeping Melody entertained and keeping the family sane, so I have not used my Silhouette quite as much. But I did find time to use I for some gifts, shirts for a trip for a coworker of Brad’s, and masks. If you had told me in January I would be making monograms and names for masks, I would have thought you were crazy, but here we are!
For our anniversary, I made Brad this cute coffee cup. We have played Animal Crossing together for many years, and so I thought this would be a cute gift. It was hard because of the small pieces didn’t want to stick. And the cup is a matte finish, so we can’t put it in the dishwasher. But it is still cute, and we are just careful with it.
So back in February, Brad’s coworker asked if I could make them “Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts along with a Thing 9 3/4” shirt. They had planned to visit Universal during Spring Break. Unfortunately the pandemic hit and their trip was cancelled. They still wanted the shirts for hopes to use on another trip. Thankfully they got to go late during the summer.
For Lydia’s 4th birthday, they decided to do an ice cream themed party. Emily found the ice cream shirt at Target, then I added her name and the number 4.
And then came the masks. We decided to put Melody and Lydia’s name on their masks very small so that they would not confuse their masks for another kid’s masks at activities.
The last thing I want to share is the shirt I made for Melody to wear for Brad’s birthday. We had the shirt laying around, and I decided to make her a shirt since it is so hard to find one with “dada” on it!
We did do a lot of crafts and activities this summer too that I already wrote about that you can find if you are interested!
