Frozen Party Favors
What started out as very simple party favors turned into something a bit more elaborate in true Brittany fashion. As you can see, Melody had a Frozen themed 4th birthday party. The idea was to have snowflake wands for all the kids. While we did those (and you can see the how to below), since there were only 4 kids including Melody plus 2 babies, I also incorporated a bit more since I had the room to spend more. Check it out below.
So for starters, I had Brad use his 3D printer to print large snowflakes to make wands with. We had both clear and white. The clear filament we bought was more difficult than we anticipated, so the majority of the wands had white snowflakes on them. I made similar wands last year, and I was able to reuse most of the supplies. They are super easy to make too! First cut up ribbon to attach to the wands. I used white, gray, and baby blue. Line up the 3 colors together, then place a dot of hot glue on the middle of one side. Take the dowel rod and attach it to the ribbon using the hot glue but be sure and leave room for the snowflake. Tie the ribbon around one time.
If you want some noise added, you can now add a bell. Tie the ribbon again. I also used some hot glue on the bell to help it stay in place.
Next apply hot glue to the dowel rod at the top, then attach the snowflake.
So in typical Brittany fashion, I could let this be. So I decided to add in favor bags. I bought the Frozen Play Pack coloring book sets for $1 from Target. I also bought a 4 pack of Frozen stamps from Walmart. Then I also added in Hershey Kisses and Frozen fruit snacks I had already bought for the party. Unfortunately the coloring book was too big to close the favor bags I had, so we had to come up with something else. So I filled the favor bags with the stamp, chocolate, and fruit snacks. Then I took the wand and ran it through the hanging part of the coloring book set. I taped the wand to set. The I tied the bag using leftover ribbon to the wand.
In addition, Brad used his 3D printer to make personalized tags for each of the bags since we knew the exact kids coming. We also made tags for the babies too.
I displayed these in a wooden white box, and the wands I had leftover I used as decor!
