Watermelon Matching Game
During all of our homeschooling due to COVID-19, we had to get creative with our crafts. Crafts are Melody’s favorite. I found this one on Crayola’s website. It was a really easy craft to make, and we continue to play with it even today. Melody doesn’t follow instructions 100%, but your child may, ha!
Ideally use a red or pink piece of construction paper and draw large circles on it followed by smaller ones. Then a line down the middle. I traced an object and then used a ruler, but you can free hand it.
Now cut out around the larger circle. I made 6 but you could make more or less. On each side of the middle line color in the same amount of dots (“seeds”). Ideally you want these to look similar, but Melody just kept the same number and very randomly placed.
Now cut down the center line and you have a fun matching game!
