Lunch can be a struggle. I get bored easily, and I want things quick. I don’t care for leftovers, so I feel my options are fairly limited. But I decided to make myself some wraps using chicken tenders from Slim Chickens. This turned out perfect and is a great lunch to have on occasion.
I found these wraps in the Noom app way back when I was doing Noom. I did make some adjustments to their recipe to better fit what I had on hand and what I prefer (I am not a mushroom fan for instance).
Crockpot chicken fajitas are easy and yummy. Perfect for a Tuesday night fiesta. You literally just have to heat up the tortillas (if you want), and you are set for dinner! Buy some tortilla chips and premade salsa and call it a night.
This is another recipe that I found from Piece of Keto Pyatt. It is really good and we definitely do not pair it in a keto way (we serve with chips, quest, and salsa). I think it would also be really good served over Mexican rice too! I might would even go crazy and add some refried beans for myself, ha.
Brad absolutely loves this recipe that my best friend, Emily, has been making for years. So I finally decided to make it for us. It makes a LOT. It’s a great recipe when you are having a group of people over because of this too!
I found this recipe on Instagram, and the blogger made it look oh so easy. And while I am sure I made it more difficult than necessary, it will not be a weeknight meal for us due to the length of time it takes, It was delicious, however, and I would make it on the weekends for sure!
So I based this recipe on one that a fellow instagrammer (@xoashleyvictoria) posted in her stories a while back. It is fairly healthy, and it is really yummy!
I love wings, but I am very particular about them. My absolute favorite are from Baumhower’s Wings. And while we have one here in Huntsville, it isn’t the most convenient to where we live. So for a football game recently I decided to make my own. There are actually two recipes below. I like my wings with a dry rub on them. Brad prefers his wings with a wet sauce on them. So I included both versions. I will say, the dry version needs some adjustment to the baking powder. While they tasted amazing, the baking powder was a bit overwhelming. And next time I hope to find the wings separated. Publix on had them as a whole wing :(
So a while back we grilled kabobs. We don’t do them super often because I am not a huge fan of the vegetables, but I do let Brad do them on occasion and I make another vegetable for myself. Plus they make great lunches for Brad too.
So this was a very thrown together dinner I made a while back. I had planned to use cornmeal or breadcrumbs but we were out. So flour it was.
