Healthy Sausage Balls
These sausage balls are a nice, healthy alternative to traditional sausage balls.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of sausage (reduced fat, if possible)
- 1 cup of COOKED quinoa, chilled (I made the mistake of measure 1 cup of uncooked quinoa which is WAY too much!)
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 cup of low fat cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Mix all ingredients together except cooking spray
3. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray
4. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet
5. Cook for 20 minutes or until down
