Halloween 2017
Just like last year, we decided to do family costumes for Halloween. One day we put Melody's hair in pigtails, and that is when it hit Brad...let's dress her up as Boo from Monsters Inc. Brad and I planned to dress as Mike and Sulley. I bought our shirts from Hobby Lobby. We decide who would be who based on the fact they did not have my size in the blue shirt, ha! I bought purple heat transfer vinyl, and I had blue, white and black HTV at home. I used the Silhouette Cameo to make our shirts.
Melody's Boo costume was fairly easy. She already had purple pants at home. I bought a 3T pink shirt from Hobby Lobby, and I bought some ponytail holders from Walmart. Easy enough!
To start Halloween, I dressed Melody in a Minnie Mouse costume that Brad's Aunt and Uncle bought her for her birthday. Her accessory was her toothbrush that she refused to hand over.
We got ready for trick or treating around 5:15. We took a few pictures of all of us both inside and outside.
Then we finally headed out around 5:45. We just went around the block.
We brought the wagon with us, and it was a good thing. About half way, the girls were done!
After trick or treating, we came back and had dinner. The girls played while we handed out candy. The girls were pretty worn out!
