Baby Sprinkle Invitations

Baby Sprinkle Invitations

For my sister in law's baby sprinkle, I really wanted to play on the sprinkle theme.  This included the invitation.  I decided I wanted the background of the invitation to be covered in sprinkles.  I went back and forth about how many sprinkles to put on it, but I opted for the most amount of sprinkles I could fit!  I printed them on white cardstock and cut the page in half.

Now I had to come up with the invite wording portion.  I wanted to include a cute "saying" that implied that the shower was really meant to just sprinkle Rebekah with a few things she may want new for the baby.  I decided to also emphasize that it was a sprinkle.  At the bottom was the usual info: date, time, address, regrets, and registry info.  I printed a border around the wording portion to make it stand out too.  The last piece I added was a banner at the top of the invite using thread and washi tape.  You can see how I did it below.

First, I placed two holes in the top of each invite.  Then I added the white thread.

I taped the thread to the back of the wording portion of the invite.

Then I added different washi tapes to the thread.  I did three per banner and each invite was different.

I added double sided tape to the back of the wording portion of the invite.

Then I attached the wording portion of the invite to the sprinkle background to complete the invite.
