Birthday Banners
The theme for Melody's second birthday was "You are my Sunshine". I made three banners to help decorate for her party. The banners changed some from when I first designed them only because where I planned to use them changed.
The first banner I made (and the one that really didn't change from its first design) was the Happy Birthday banner. It was very similar to her birthday banner last year, but I did the layering slightly different. Instead of attaching the letters to the banner portion, I cut the letters out of the banner itself. I also added a sun on each side of happy. Check it out below.
The second banner I made was a banner that said "You are my Sunshine". This banner started out as just a banner full of suns. Then I changed it to this when I thought the party would be outside. It worked perfectly above Emily's mantel though. Each letter is attached to a sun, and was assembled similar to the cupcake toppers.
The last banner I made was one that said "Melody is Two". This was not an originally planned banner. When I thought the party would be outside, I thought this would be a cute addition to our fence. Instead I placed it over a door opening at Emily's house. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of it. However, I do have a picture from the Silhouette Cameo software.
