Flag Door Hanger

At our new house, we have one extra door than our previous home. So I was short a door hanger for the fall season. I have a few fall yard flags, so I decided to make a door hanger out of one of the flags.

I took a dowel rod that I happened to have, and I inserted it into the flag.

Then I took a piece of thread (twine would have looked better, and I tied a knot with it on each end of the rod.

And it’s all done!
