We just returned from another trip to Disney World. Over the next seven days, I will be sharing our trip report day by day. You can find my planning post here. So let’s get started!

Unfortunately this was our last day at Disney. Unlike most trips, our flight did not leave until the evening, so we were able to still get park time in. We finished up packing, checked our bags, then left our carry ons with bell services. Then off to Epcot we went!

We walked through the UK and Canada and decided to go to Spaceship Earth for one more ride. Melody had been asking to ride the “big ball” again. Well it was down :( So we decided to try and find a photopass photographer in FRONT of Spaceship Earth, but we literally found not one. So we opted to take a selfie instead. We walked in the shops hoping SE would open back up, but it didn’t. So we headed to The Land. Halfway there, Melody realized she no longer had her “eyes” aka sunglasses. She left them in the gift shop. So Brad headed to get them while Melody and I parked the stroller and went into The Land. We rode Living with the Land once before lunch.

We had a noon reservation at Garden Grill. I love this “updated” menu minus the salad. I was never a fan of the Italian sausage before. Of course Melody was still terrified of the characters but she still hid from them when we warned her they were coming. I still snuck in a few pictures. And they were nice and brought Brad sugar cookies because he won’t eat their dessert (he hates fruit).

We used more of our DVC FP+ and took turns riding Soarin’ while the opposite person rode Living with the Land with Melody.  We then went on LwtL one more time as a family.  After that we started our departure walk.  We stopped and got coffee, Brad bought a sushi donut, and we headed back to our hotel.

It was only 3, but Melody wanted some time on the playground and my parents were actually there. They started their trip at Disney today as we departed. They happen to have dinner reservations at Cape May Cafe, so they met us at The Boardwalk. So we were able to spend an hour or so with them before having to head to catch the Magical Express.

It is always sad to catch the bus, but it is also nice to get back home and in a routine. We made it to the airport and through security super fast. We ate dinner at McDonald’s (with everyone else), and then we caught our flight without any issues.

We made it home all in one piece and with all of our luggage (minus a bow and a few lids to our cups).  It was nice to be back home.  We had such a magical trip.  It was literally a perfect trip without the single feeling of being rushed or flustered.  I am looking forward to going back as always.
