Tilapia with Avocado Cream Sauce

I think this recipe may be my new favorite fish recipe. It can be made with almost any fish (the recipe I found was originally for salmon, but we didn’t have any, so we used tilapia). And it is low carb and high protein.

Ingredients

  • 2 tilapia filets (or any other fish)

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 minced garlic clove

Instructions

1. In a skillet, heat to medium and add some nonstick spray. Add fish and salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip. Salt and pepper again. And cook until white and flaky.

2. While the fish is cooking, mash avocado, garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl.

3. Add fish to your plate when done, and top it with half of the avocado cream sauce.

4. Serve!
