March 2019 Disney Trip Report Day Four

So my mom and I went to Disney World earlier this month with Melody. You may have already read about all the planning we did (not much, ha!). Now I want to share with you more about our trip. Below is our trip report from our fourth and last day. We spent half of our day at Magic Kingdom and then we traveled home. Follow along!

We really didn’t have much planned for our departure day. I had fastpasses scheduled for Epcot because I knew those would be the hardest to get (aka Frozen Ever After). And in my mind Magic Kingdom would be too busy to visit since it was Monday. So we slept in some, and then packed the rest of our things. We are breakfast in our room, then we headed out around 10 or so. Silver Airways does not participate in hotel airport check in, so we checked our bags with bell services.

I knew Epcot was not ideal because Melody could careless about Frozen Ever After. And time wise it just didn’t make sense. I talked with Melody, and she really wanted to do the teacups and Dumbo again, so that’s what we did. Even with the crowds, I knew it would make her happy. So I quickly booked some fastpasses and off we went.

We left the hotel around 10:30. Melody wasn’t too into pictures that morning, ha!

We made it into the Magic Kingdom around 10:50 am. We didn’t bring bags since we only planned to be here for a little while, so it made getting into the park really quick.

So we headed straight to Dumbo. Our first fastpass was there. While in line to get on the ride, I updated our fastpass for the teacups to a closer time.

By the time we finished Dumbo, we went straight to teacups and walked right on with our fastpass. Notice ALL the strollers. There were never that many when we have came before.

So while in line at the teacups, I started looking for a third fastpass that was close to the time it was. I snagged it’s a small world, and I kept modifying it until I got a time closer. So we went straight there next. The lines were CRAZY here! OMG. I can’t even imagine how easily I got a fastpass knowing these lines!

Once again, I started looking for another fastpass while in line. I got one for teacups only minutes away! So off to teacups we went after riding it’s a small world.

And for the last time, I did another search for fastpasses, and we got one for Dumbo only minutes away. We ended our trip there. We rode it one last time then got our stroller and headed out.

FYI we left our stroller parked at Dumbo this entire time. The teacups and Dumbo were so close together this just made sense. My mom did have to carry Melody to it’s a small world, but even that walk wasn’t too far. And with all of the fastpasses I was able to get, we rode all 5 rides in just a little over an hour. We got ON Dumbo for the first time at 11:10 am, then we got ON Dumbo for the last time at 12:20 pm. I’d say that was pretty good for just a short time at Magic Kingdom.

We headed back to our hotel to go ahead and eat lunch and wait on our bus to the airport. We were scheduled to be picked up at 2 pm.

We picked up our bags at bell services, ate lunch, sorted a few things between our bags, put on our winter clothes for the arrival home of 30 degrees, and we headed to the bus stop.

We made it to the airport, checked in our flight and luggage, then had over two hours to kill. We did some window shopping and let Melody just sleep in her stroller.

When she woke up, we headed through TSA. There wasn’t too much near our gate, and none of us were super hungry. So we got some ice cream because that’s what Melody wanted, ha. One last time I suppose. We just let her play and burn some energy before having to board our plane. We were able to board about the time our flight was supposed to leave. The flight coming in was late, so that delayed us a bit. Not too bad though. Once again, we were all next to each other, and Melody wanted to sit with my mom, ha!

I remembered a Dr. Pepper for my flight, and I also bought a few snacks. Although they did give water and cheez-its again.

The sunset was nice, and I was able to get a few pictures.

I was able to sleep about an hour of the flight. Melody stayed awake the whole time, lol. This trip she literally pulled out every toy and coloring book we had! She kept my mom busy for sure!

She was so excited when we got home. She wanted to see Brad so bad. She literally was yelling for him as soon as we got off the plane. It was too cute!

And that is the end of our trip! It was a quick trip, but we had a lot of fun and accomplished a lot.
