Boardwalk Joe's

While staying at Boardwalk Inn and Villas back in February, we frequented The Boardwalk itself often. We walked The Boardwalk to get to Epcot every day. We didn’t eat at many places, but we did stop in a few of the quick service places along our walks. We stopped at Boardwalk Joe’s twice. It wasn’t for their margaritas, although those looked great. Instead I was intrigued by their Dole Whip Smoothies.

I bought one one evening walking back from Epcot. The line was fairly short compared to other nights, although after joining the line (3rd in place), it grew rather quickly. I bought a second one on our way out of Epcot on our last day before departing the resort. There was only one bartender during both of my visits making the waits a bit longer. Luckily with the smoothie, it literally takes a minute to make (it comes directly from a machine).

The smoothie itself was good. It wasn’t anything spectacular, and I likely would have not bought a second one if we didn’t have leftover snack credits, ha. It does taste like a dole whip in a smoothie version vs ice cream. I definitely don’t think it is worth $6, but hey, it’s Disney. Next trip I hope to try out some of their margaritas. It just wasn’t worth the wait in lines for me this time.
