Chocolate Chip Cookie Redo
So I have made chocolate chip cookies before, but Melody won’t eat those. And I am really trying hard to find a recipe she will eat. But honestly, she wouldn’t even eat this one. I made these for her actual birthday. But all she wants is stinking Chips Ahoy! Oh well, these are really good but taste much better served warm.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of light brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of slat
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a mixer bowl, add melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth. Add in egg and vanilla, and continue to mix until combined. Add in baking soda and salt, and continue mixing until creamy and combined.
2. Slowly add the flour and mix with a spoon until well combined. Then slowly mix in the chocolate chips.
3. Place tablespoon scoops onto a baking sheet (I lined with plastic wrap). Spacing is irrelevant because at this point you are just going to chill them for 2+hours.
4. Once chilled spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray, then place the chilled cookies onto the cookie sheet.
5. Bake for about 12-15 minutes at 350. Serve!
