Candy Cane Place Cards
We recently celebrated Christmas with Emily, Justin, and their little ones last weekend. I hosted this year, and I wanted to make it fancy-ish. We decided to do breakfast for dinner (which was fun and different), and I made his place setting as cute as I could without getting out the fine china plates and silverware (I did use our fine china glasses). Well I also decided to make some cute and easy place card holders. They are super easy and cheap too!
So to start you need three candy candy for each place card you are making. I used the traditional ones, but you can go crazy and use any you want.
Use hot glue to attach them together.
I had seen pictures of people using ribbon to cover up the hot glue, but I didnβt find it so noticeable. And once on the table, you really did not notice it. But you can if you want.
I used green cardstock and cut it into 1.5 by 2.5 inch rectangles. Then I used a red Sharpie to write everyoneβs name on them.
I placed the place cards on the side of our place settings because there was not enough room directly in front. I thought they turned out really cute and were super easy and quick to make!
